Learn The 7 Characteristics A Good FOREX Trading System Must Have Before You Buy.

Monday, July 31st, 2006

By: Nathan Young

Nowadays Forex trading has become one of the favorite activities for many men and women around the world. This people is looking for a way of earning some extra money in their free time but many have realized that they have just found a profitable business that lets them earn a full-time income helping them keep their lifestyles, even working from home and in a significant number of cases even letting them improve their past lifestyles when they held full-time jobs.

But Forex trading is not an easy task; it is simple to enter a trade and let it run, but making yourself a profitable trader takes more than just willingness; it takes knowledge and a good forex trading system.

There are many companies and individuals out there offering you trading systems that promise to be the real thing and that will teach you how to earn tons of money. But you must be aware that not all of them are sincere and you should be ready to look for some specific characteristics good forex trading systems must have.
1. They must be willing to let you know part or the basics of their system for free. It is a good sign if they have a free course or seminar describing their methodology so you can decide if it’s for you before you give them any money.
2. They must have a no questions asked guarantee of your money back; if at the end they fail to deliver on their promises.
3. They should offer some forms of continuing support and education after you make your purchase. It is a very good sign if they provide an online/email forum so that their clients can interact with one another and the developer of the trading system. Another good sign would be if they have a support phone number where you can reach them at during regular business hours.
4. You should be able to make an appointment to talk on the phone with the developer of the system if you wish. If you’re paying good money for the system then you should have the right to speak to the developer. If not, go somewhere else for your trading system needs
5. The trading system they offer you should be recession-proof and go beyond the traditional linear models that are based mostly on past results. Ideally, the forex trading system you get should allow you to go with the market direction, wherever it’s going, instead of hoping and believing it will go one way or another, and then find out it was all wrong.
6. The system should be given to you with software that performs the complex math behind it making it simple for you to use at any time and without strange formulas.
7. They must enthusiastically listen to your concerns about trading, what you wish to accomplish and answer your questions to your satisfaction. If you suddenly feel they are in the business only for your money, then you better move on. You want to make sure that the people selling you a Forex trading system is actually interested in a mutually beneficial, long-term relationship with their clients.

Debt Consolidation Refi Loan - Refinance And Get Out Of Debt

Saturday, July 29th, 2006

By: Carrie Reeder

Before mortgage interest rates begin to rise, homeowners must take advantage of low rates and refinance their mortgage. Refinancing serve many useful purposes. Aside from presenting the perfect opportunity to lock in at a low rate, many homeowners are able to borrow against their equity and use the money to become debt free.

What Are Debt Consolidation Refi Loans?

Consolidating debts has become an effective means for reducing and eliminating debts. Many people have more debt than they can handle. Some have discovered quick ways to get out of debt. Yet, millions of people struggling to pay minimum fees continue to search for a strategy.

If you own a home, there may be a practical answer to reducing debts. Debt consolidation refinance loans are extremely popular – and for good reason. Your home is literally a cash machine. In order to tap into the equity, most people choose to sell their homes. However, if you select a refinance, it is possible to receive cash from the equity, while continuing to live in the home. The money can be used to consolidate debts and improve credit score.

How Do They Work?

The concept of a debt consolidation refi loan is very simple, and doable. To begin, homeowners must agree to create a new mortgage loan. This involves applying for a new mortgage with a new lender or your current lender. Most people apply for a new loan in order to get a lower rate, etc.

In addition to obtaining a better rate, homeowners who have built a large amount of equity in their homes have the option of borrowing money from their equity. This is termed a cash-out refinancing. By doing so, the new mortgage principle will be higher than the previous. Once homeowners obtain their money at closing, the funds may be used to payoff their debts. This is a smart maneuver for individuals hoping to raise their credit score.

Comparing Refi Lenders

Although your current mortgage lender will be more than happy to assist you with a new mortgage, it is important to shop around and compare offers from other refi lenders. Comparison shopping is very essential if you have poor credit. The easiest way to compare different lender rates is online. Many mortgage sites offer online comparisons and instant quotes.

The Real Cost Of Your Debt

Friday, July 28th, 2006

By: Gerard Korsten

I want you to take a good long look at your debt. Do you really know what it costs you to be in debt? Are you thinking that you can handle it or is it getting you down?

Once you start really analyzing your debt position and the cost (to yourself) of having the debt, the results can be mind-numbingly shocking.

I’ve found that debt is a lot like smoking. When you start out, you believe you’re in control and you can quit at any time. As the months and the years roll past, this initial belief does not fade away. With every debt you incur, the mantra “I can afford this”, repeats itself in your subconscious until you wake up one morning and realize that you’re in over your head.

Debt has well and truly caught you in its trap. Debt has become a bad habit.

And just like any bad habit, debt requires as much hard work and discipline to shake. The first step in the process is to acknowledge that you have a problem - instead of turning a blind eye, hoping it will go away or thinking that you’ll get around to it some day in the future.

One of the motivators to setting your feet on the path to debt free living is to look at the real cost of that debt. What is it doing to you? Where does it hurt the most?

Most debts (the ones that make you cry into your morning coffee anyway) are the ones that are incurred for a period exceeding one year. You’ve probably seen or heard advertisements that go something like this:

Buy your ‘Wiggly Snoogle’ for this special one time limited offer today – 24 easy monthly instalments.

Beware – this is where you can fall into the deadliest trap of them all. The interest rates are usually above average and you’re stuck into a long term contract. Yes, getting your Wiggly Snoogle with the 25 000 features sounds like a good idea because of the easy monthly payments; especially if you compare it to the one time lump sum payment. (By the way, using the ‘lump sum’ to ‘monthly payment’ comparison is a well known sales technique to separate you from your hard earned cash.)

Let’s take this out of the realm of philosophy with a real world example:

You borrow $ 10,000 to buy a new car. Over a 48 month period – that’s 4 years of monthly payments – you will be paying an additional $ 2,000 in interest. So, your $ 10,000 vehicle is actually costing you $ 12,000. The cost of that debt is a whopping $ 2,000. If you had taken that $ 2,000 and invested it over the same period, it could have grown to $ 3,000. Instead, it has disappeared into someone else’s pocket – never to be seen again.

This is where the lenders make their money. The longer they can have you in their clutches, the longer they can smile all the way to the bank and you groaning on the way to work.

Now I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have a car – it’s just an example of the REAL cost of debt. Sometimes debt is unavoidable, but as a species we’ve become too complacent about debt and we jump into it without thinking.

Your Magic Plastic (a.k.a. Credit Card) is another one of those fiendishly sneaky evils the banks developed to rid you of your money. If – and that’s a big if – you manage your credit card correctly and pay off the full amount at the end of each month, they can be great to have and smooth the little rough patches in life. But most of us only pay the minimum amount required each month – and that’s exactly what the banks want. It leaves you in the red and owing them money. Which gives them ample opportunity to apply the thumb screws. Remember, every month you’re in the red, you’re paying interest on the outstanding amount which gets added to your bill.

The big mistake we all make is to look at our monthly statement and say: “Hey, that’s not too bad. I can still afford my repayments. And I have some credit available to buy that wiggly snoogle as well!” The problem arises when you battle to make your income stretch through the month because of the various different repayments you have to make.

It’s critically important that you start looking at the TOTAL COST of your debt over your lifetime. Once you’re over the shock and horror of how much of your hard earned cash is going up in smoke, you’ll be in a position to tackle the problem head on and take the path to debt free living.

Remeber: Bad debt is a bad habit.

A Guide to Forex Trading & Investing

Thursday, July 27th, 2006

By: Michael J Campbell

Market knowledge and ability to understand analysis will only get you so far in Forex trading, but without the nerve to actively compete risking your own money in the process you can never become a successful trader.

Wagering huge volumes of money in a market as susceptible to change is liable to cause a whole range of opposing emotions; fear, excitement and anxiety just to name a few. Battling against your emotions in order to complete a successful deal is one of the major hurdles, which must be overcome if you are to become a trader able to close huge deals and earn vast sums of money. If you can overcome or even use these emotions to make trades on the Forex then a successful career may be beckoning, but failure to do so will almost certainly cost you a substantial amount of money and end any lingering desires to progress in the busy world of exchange rate trading.

Initiating and closing a trade at the right times are the backbone of becoming a successful Forex trader. If a person cannot execute these deals at the right times, the psychological and financial damage can be crippling. Missing a huge trend or sitting too long on a good price, can be a demoralising experience, but one that many will encounter during a career in Forex trading.

Entering at the right time is just one thing that must be done correctly, but if you are unable to leave at the right time or hold your nerve during the course of the trade, the implications are potentially severe. For example accepting a small loss just before the market rises can lead to a horrendous huge profit/loss ratio margin. Similarly sitting on a currency price that is plummeting for too long could be financially crippling. Understanding the Forex market and having faith in your ability to judge a trend will pay dividends if you hold your nerve, backing out at the wrong time can prove to be a catastrophic misnomer.

The fear generated by investing your own personal money is the main thing that must be overcome. It is the culprit in so many failure stories, people who just couldn’t overcome their anxiety investing unwisely, pulling out at the wrong time, missing a rise completely, all result in failure and are caused by fear. Accepting this fear, and using it to your potential will make you a stronger trader, able to trade freely and enjoy the thrill of the exchange. Fighting it will get you nowhere, understanding and overcoming it are the best remedies to this baseless emotion.

Trading strategies will help you ride out the rough times and capitalize on the good ones. Sometimes just taking a step back and accepting a few losses will give you the energy and the knowledge to attack the Forex with renewed vigour, and make some serious profits. Accepting that sometimes you will lose out, you need to be able to take the hits and roll with a punch, there are no guarantees in the trading market, so being able to move on and start again is a skill that is paramount to generating success.

Analysis and charts can only get you so far. You must first master these things, and be able to correctly interpret the figures that are represented in order to spot the trends and make your move. But this all means nothing if you don’t have the courage of your convictions. If you are too afraid to buy and not sure when to sell then a glittering career in market trading is likely to elude you. ‘The trend is your friend’ but it means nothing if you firstly can’t spot it and secondly don’t have the courage to back it. Knowledge, strategies and overcoming fear may well be the 3 best ways to become to unlock the door to becoming a successful trader. Without all 3 you will more often than not become unstuck, so prepare, practice and evaluate everything before taking the plunge in the complicated world of Forex trading.

How To Consolidate Your Debts And Repair Your Credit

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

By: Ryan Cote

If you think you are alone with your debt, think again. Everyone, regardless of economic status or situation, is in debt in one way or another. You might have small debts, like credit cards or financing, or large debts like student loans and mortgages. Either way, your level of debt directly affects your credit.

Without a good credit score, you might have trouble getting a loan or a mortgage, or even a debit card – things that most of us take for granted. Your credit score is the key to your credit report, maintained through a credit bureau. If you miss payments or fall into default on a debt, it will be reported to your credit bureau, and as a result, your credit rating will fall. Repairing your credit effectively is a process with many steps, and is unique to each individual. However, one method of improving credit scores, that has worked for individuals in many situations, is debt consolidation.

It is important when dealing with credit repair to act quickly. Though your credit rating became damaged as soon as you missed a payment on your loan or debt, it will get worse and be more difficult to act on later if you don’t act right away. It is a common misconception that you either have “good” or “bad” credit and once you get behind, it’s pointless to try and fix it. This is not true! It’s always best to work on your credit issues right away, because if given the opportunity, they will get worse.

Even if your haven’t been able to pay your creditors on time, repairing your credit requires that you pay your debts as quickly as you can. Unfortunately, your economic situation is probably such that you don’t have all the money you need to pay your debts, or you wouldn’t be missing your payments in the first place. This is why debt consolation can be a great tool in credit repair.

Debt consolidation works by combining all of your existing debts into one loan. In other words, if you have several different existing debts, you can take out a single loan from one bank or company, pay your existing debts with that loan, and be left with only one loan to pay off.

Debt consolation allows you flexibility in situations where your outstanding debts have become unmanageable. Though the amount of money you owe won’t change, you could get a long-term loan for your debt consolidation and your monthly payments will be lower. Best of all, debt consolidation will immediately bring you current with your creditors, and ultimately repairing your credit will be easier. Debt consolidation is not a quick-fix credit solution, but it will prevent additional immediate damage to your credit, and allow you to begin repairing your credit right away.

What Is Forex?

Monday, July 24th, 2006

By: Willie Reynolds

It may come as a shock to the investment rookie, but Forex is the largest market in the world. Forex is an abbreviated form of the term Foreign Exchange, or simply currency. These terms refer to the monetary value of one country’s money value (as measured by the country’s largest single-value denomination) and is usually measured in comparison to the unit of currency used by the country in which the investor is a citizen.

The measure by which Forex is considered the largest market is in terms of cash value traded, and it is used by every type of investment imaginable, from individuals (who use brokers or banks) to governments to international banking firms. Forex is extremely popular due to its extreme liquidity and its time capacity (with three large stock markets open day long during the week, it is possible to exchange foreign currency at every hour of the day). Liquidity is a term that is short for market liquidity, which refers to the ability to quickly buy or sell without causing a dramatic fluctuation in price. As currency for countries is determined mostly by internal (domestic) factors rather than external ones, Forex is not subject to the fluxes caused by a panicked sell-off.

As the industrial market place and arguably the defining center of the world, the dollar of the United States is used by far the most in Forex transactions. Involved in 89% of transactions, the US dollar was way ahead of other currencies, followed distantly by the euro (37%) and then the yen (20%). Remember that the numbers here do not add up to 100% because every transaction will contain at least two different currencies.

Forex speculators are a controversial topic among economists and politicians alike. One school of thought posits that currency speculation can contribute to a country’s economic downfall, as a lower currency value causes the price of inflation in comparison to imported goods to rise, snowballing the problem. Countries that are primarily exporters to a country with a higher currency value, however, receive benefits when their dollar is lowered in comparison, as their goods are thus inherently easier to purchase. The opposing view to the speculators as instruments of economic downfall is that speculators serve to keep currency regulated according to international agreements, and that their profits are the results of basic economic laws. Those who subscribe to this theory often point out that the opposing view is held all too often by leaders seeking to deflect attention away from their own domestic policies when explaining to a populace why their economy is in the toilet.

Individuals wishing to become involved in the Forex market need to remember that they must do so through a broker or bank, bodies regulated by their governments and international agreements to prevent the unlawful profit resulting in economic damage to a different country. Investing through these bodies inevitably means that the individual will not see the full results of their investment, as they naturally provide some insulation for themselves against loss in the fluctuating market.

Simple Methods To Reduce Credit Card Debt

Sunday, July 23rd, 2006

By: Peter J Kenny

Many people do not realise when their credit card debt is getting on top of them until it is too late.

The best thing to do to see how you stand with your credit card and how much you are paying back to them each month, is to calculate your monthly earnings and then calculate what you can afford to put back into your credit card account. You will then you have to divide your earnings by what you make in payments to your credit card and if you arrive at a figure of 15% or more going towards your card debt, then you are facing the chance that you are falling through a debt trap door that you cannot get out of.

If you find that you are in this position, the best thing that you can do is to stop using your credit cards and look at other areas in which you can cut back in your expenditure. The thing that I am going to suggest may not be what you would think, but it can go a long way to saving you a lot of money. The area in which you can save cash is your grocery bills, “but I have to eat” I here you say that is true as it is a fabric of our being, but it is the manner in which we spend our cash on groceries, that costs us a large slice of our monthly bills being higher than it should be.

Lets start with how many times that you have been looking through the newspapers, and you have came across money off vouchers on products that you do usually buy and ignored it and then threw the paper in the bin? Loads of times I bet and when in the supermarket do you go for the big named brands that are a lot more expensive but are told that they are of higher quality? Of course you do, but the fact of the matter is that the big name brands are not that much better, than the stores own branded labels and in many instances the product is made in the same place and are very similar.

Even if you see the big named brand with a promotion of 50% free or buy one get one free, you will find in many instances that it will still be cheaper to buy supermarket own brand products. And what you must also remember is that these firms are not going to sell their products at a loss. So just think at the high mark up price that they are usually at when not on a promotional price.

So by cutting down on your grocery expenditure, you will soon see the difference in your credit card debt, as you put what you are saving back in to clear your credit card balance.

At the same time as cutting your debt, remember to pay your credit card bills on time. Credit card late repayment penalties can work out to be very expensive and could actually undo all your good work. Credit card late payment penalties are currently being brought down to £12. This reduction was brought about by pressure from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT)
